How To Prepare For the NetJets Sim Ride
- My Pilot Interview

If you haven't flown a jet aircraft, or you'd simply like to build confidence before your NetJets simulator evaluation in Columbus, the best way to prepare is to spend a day in the simulator.
Our go to recommendation is Momentum Flight Training in Stokesdale, North Carolina (about 30 minutes north of Greensboro). They operate a CRJ Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) and offer one-on-one instruction tailored towards interview preparation, and are very familiar with NetJets.
One of our recent clients completed a full day of training there before their NetJets interview. Using a recent profile, they flew approximately 15 departures and approaches as the PF. The opportunity to experience a sitting in the cockpit, manage the workload, and practice the profiles with an instructor was invaluable.
While simulator training is not required, and some people simply do it on a microsoft flight sim to be successful at NetJets, it can be an excellent investment for pilots with little or no jet experience who want to arrive in Columbus feeling prepared and confident.
